The locals have been SO FRIENDLY and welcoming and helpful and engaging.
I told Chris that even though we have many miles to go and many destinations to explore/experience I kind of feel like we are in “the land of the lotus eaters” here…whereby we could settle in, stay forever and 20 years from now we are still here…moldering away in the lovely locale.
Kind of a weird take on things, I know. But that’s my fear stuff being released and my other stuff coming in…who knows.
Saw the cook at the restaurant here at the Hotel/RV park serve a couple some amazing, giant pina coladas (we knew this couple…they camped next to us in San Carlos). They looked lovely but I cannot drink pina coladas any more since I was 18 and smuggled a big jug of homemade ones into the Star Wars movie… And that’s a long story for another day.
I’ll just say that I really felt like I was going to barf but I didn’t but cannot drink the anymore until this day, decades later. LOL.
Here’s some photos from our day and our first afternoon landing in Las Glorias. Enjoy!
