Although we’ve planned all our lives to end up living and working in Mexico now is the time, we’ve decided, to make this dream a reality…
We will still be fully connected to the internet and RedSpiralHand will still be actively serving as a marketing and web consultant but we will also be building a new dream via Blue Butterfly Travels. We will be exploring, telling stories and creating great video content!
Something Different
Sure, there are plenty of travel blogs and video channels out there about Mexico and they are great and we follow many of them, ourselves. Blue Butterfly Travels has something a bit different in mind, though. We wish to take our love for ancient history, plant and energy healing, food systems & gardening and nature into Mexico and bring this experience to our readers and video audience.
Some of the subject matter we are most interested in covering are:
- Lesser known ancient historical sites & petroglyphs
- Traditional Mexican food systems and production in smaller villages
- Unique natural phenomena like volcanoes and butterfly migrations
- Organic and heirloom gardening in Mexico
- Indigenous traditions and healing
Giving Back
We will also be seeking opportunities to find niches where there is a great need for assistance for local populations and explore ways to give back…from helping artisans to market their creations to a larger audience to fundraising for specific purposes. We hope to discover and draw attention to amazing products, creations and causes throughout Mexico that have fallen between the cracks.
